  • IPOs with positive listing: Represents the total number of IPOs which have listed above the issue price profits according to the closing price on the day of the IPO listing.
  • Amount Raised (Rs.Cr.): Total of Capital raised by issuer company through IPO during the respective year. Excluding withdrawn or cancelled issues.
  • Total Market Cap (IPO) (Rs.Cr.): Total of post-issue market cap of all IPOs opened during the respective year.

Total Market Cap (IPO) (Rs.Cr.) = Sum (Post-issue Shareholding * Issue Price Final)

  • Market Cap w.r.t. Listing Day Close Price (Rs.Cr.):Total market capitalization of the companies based on the listing day close price. Many investors do not receive allotment in highly subscribed IPOs, but they can still purchase shares from the open market on the listing day. This parameter is used to calculate the wealth created when shares are bought at the listing day close price instead of through the IPO allotment.

  • Current Market Cap (Rs.Cr.):Total of market capitalization all IPOs opened during the respective year based on the current market price

  • Wealth Created (Rs.Cr.): Difference between the current market cap of all IPOs and the total market capitalization at the time of the IPO in a given year.

  • % Gain / loss on Listing: Total of percentage profit or loss on the day of listing relative to the final issue price of all IPOs in a given year.

Listing Day Gain (%) = Average ((Market Cap w.r.t. Listing Day Close Price - Total Market Cap (IPO) / Total Market Cap (IPO)) * 100)

  • Wealth creation w.r.t. Listing Day Close Price (%): Total of percentage of wealth created when IPO shares are purchased from the open market on the listing day.
