Commodity Trading Holiday List 2026

Indian commodity markets remain open for trading on all weekdays except Saturday, Sunday, and declared market holidays.

MCX Timings 2026 (MCX Trading Time)

• MCX Timings: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM (or 11:55 PM*)
• Morning Session Timing: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Evening Session Timing: 5:00 PM - 11:30 PM (or 11:55 PM*)

* The evening session trading timings are revised twice a year to comply with the US daylight saving. In summer, the closing time is 11:30 PM IST, and in winter it's 11:55 PM IST.

* Agri-commodities are available for futures trading up to 5:00 PM IST whereas other commodities such as Bullions, Metals, and Energy products are available up to 11:30 pm / 11.55 PM and International referenceable Agri-commodities are available up to 09:00 pm / 09.30 PM.
