The information presented in this report is based on historical IPOs data and includes the following key figures, with specific conditions to ensure accuracy:

  • Amount raised (Rs.) (Public issue size): Capital raised by issuer company through IPO.
  • Market cap (IPO) (Rs.Cr.): Represents the post-issue market cap of the issuing company.

Market cap (IPO) (Rs.Cr.) = Post-issue capital * Issue Price

  • Market cap w.r.t. Close price on listing (Rs.Cr.): Represents the market capitalization of the company based on the listing day close price. Many investors do not receive allotment in highly subscribed IPOs, but they can still purchase shares from the open market on the listing day. This parameter is used to calculate the wealth created when shares are bought at the listing-day close price rather than through the IPO allotment.

Market Cap w.r.t. Listing day close price (Rs Cr.)= Post-issue capital * Listing day close price

  • Current Market cap (Rs.Cr.): Represents the market capitalization of the company based on the current market price.

Note: This market capitalization does not account for the impact of corporate actions such as bonus issues or stock splits.

Current Market cap (Rs.cr.) = Sum (Post-issue capital * Current market price)

  • Wealth Created (Rs.Cr.): This value reflects the difference between the current market cap and the market capitalization at the time of the IPO.

Wealth created (Rs.Cr.) = Current market cap (Rs.Cr.) - Amount raised (Rs.)

  • % Gain / loss on Listing: This value represents the percentage profit or loss on the listing day relative to the final issue price. For example, if the final issue price is ₹100 and the listing day close price is ₹140, the listing gain is 40%.

Listing Day Gain (%) = (Market Cap w.r.t. Listing Day Close Price - Market Cap (IPO) / Market Cap (IPO)) * 100)

  • Wealth creation w.r.t. Close price on listing (%): Represents the percentage of wealth created when IPO shares are purchased from the open market on the listing day. For example, if an investor buys the shares at ₹140 on the listing day and the current market price is ₹420, the wealth created relative to the listing day close price is 200%.

Wealth creation w.r.t. Listing day close price (%) = (Current Market Cap - Market Cap w.r.t. Listing day close price / Market Cap w.r.t. Listing day close price) * 100

  • Wealth created (%): Represents the percentage of wealth created by the IPO relative to the total investment made

Wealth Created (%) = (Current Market Cap - Market Cap (IPO) / Market Cap (IPO)) * 100

  • SME Migrated to Mainboard: Refers to companies that were initially listed on the SME exchange in a given year and later migrated from the SME platform to the mainboard.
