Opening Date: First day when the issue opens for public subscription. Starting from this date, investors can submit their applications for subscription of the company's shares till the closing date.
Closing Date: Last day on which investors can apply for shares in that IPO. After this date, no further bids or applications are accepted.
Allotment Date: Day on which it is decided how many shares each applicant will receive. On this date, the company finalises the basis of allotment after analysing the total demand from all investor categories.
Listing Date: Date when shares allotted to investors start trading on the stock exchange (NSE/BSE). Investors can sell or buy shares from this day.
