An infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) is a collective investment scheme similar to a mutual fund that allows money from private and institutional investors to be invested directly in infrastructure projects to earn a small portion of the returns as an income.

InvIT companies are designed to pool funds from multiple investors to invest in income-producing assets. InvITs are trusts sponsored by infrastructure developers that own, operate, and invest in both completed and under-construction infrastructure projects.

  • Issue Price: Price at which units are offered to the public.
  • Issue Amount: Total monetary value of all the units being offered to the public in an issue. It is arrived at by multiplying the number of units offered with the issue price per unit.
  • Listing at: Stock exchange where the units are proposed to be listed.
  • Lead Manager: SEBI-registered merchant banker responsible for managing the entire issue process for a company.
