An infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) is a collective investment scheme similar to a mutual fund that allows money from private and institutional investors to be invested directly in infrastructure projects to earn a small portion of the returns as an income.
InvIT companies are designed to pool funds from multiple investors to invest in income-producing assets. InvITs are trusts sponsored by infrastructure developers that own, operate, and invest in both completed and under-construction infrastructure projects.
The report aims to track the performance of InvITs that are publicly listed. This report provides information on InvITs Initial Public Offering in India.
