How to sell shares on Groww app?

For selling shares on the Groww App, you need to have the stock in your Demat account. You are also required to verify your holdings through TPIN (Transaction Personal Identification Number) provided to you by the CDSL.

Steps to sell shares on the Groww app:

1. Login to the Groww App.
2. Go to the Holdings section.
3. Select the stock you want to sell.
4. Enter the below details:
   • Type (Delivery or intraday)
   • Stock exchange (BSE or NSE)
   • Provided quantity of shares you want to sell
   • Select order type - Market or Limit price
5. Click on Verify Sell.
6. Enter the TPIN to authorize the sell transaction.
7. Input the OTP received on the registered mobile number to verify the TPIN.
8. Click on the sell button to place the order.

If you do not remember your TPIN, you can request a new TPIN (at the verification stage) that gets sent to your registered mobile number.
