For online trading with Dhan, the investor has to open an account. To open an instant account, fill out the account opening form and start trading the same day. A step-by-step guide to Dhan account opening online:
- Click here to Open Demat Account with Dhan.
- Register with a mobile number and email address and verify by entering the OTP.
- Enter a 6-digit PIN code for your account.
- Set the biometric authentication for easy access or skip it.
- Enter the Referral code (if you have any).
- To complete the KYC, verify the PAN number by uploading the PAN card image.
- For address verification, upload the Aadhar card/driving license/passport (any).
- Take a live selfie or upload your picture.
- Upload a picture of your signature.
- Complete the account declaration step by providing the correct Annual Income, Profession, and Trading experience.
- If you want to trade in Future & Option, upload your proof of income, or you can do it later (skip it for now).
- Now link your bank account by entering information like account number and IFSC code and click confirm.
- Dhan will send you Rs 1 to confirm your bank account.
- Complete the e-signature by entering the 10-digit Aadhaar card number and verify with the OTP sent to your mobile number.
- Your e-signature is not yet complete.
- Now you can set the password for your Dhan account.
- The account is sent to exchanges for registration before it gets activated.
- The Dhan team will activate your account soon.
