Upstox does not allow its customers to sell stock that is not yet credited to their Demat account. You cannot buy the stock on T day and sell on T+1 in Upstox till it is not part of your Demat account until T+2.
Earlier, BTST (Buy Today Sell Tomorrow) was permitted in Upstox. However, with the roll-out of new margin circulars by SEBI, Upstox stopped offering the BTST facility to its customers with effect from 1st September 2020.
