How to deactivate Mirae Asset Sharekhan account?

Mirae Asset Sharekhan account can be deactivated or closed by visiting the local branch office or by sending a signed paper form to the Mirae Asset Sharekhan office. Note that the Sharekhan account cannot be closed online, over the phone, by online chat or by sending an email.

Sharekhan has branch and franchise offices in most of the cities across India. You can find the location of a Sharekhan office in your city from the 'Contact Us' section on the Sharekhan website.

Steps to deactivate Sharekhan account Offline

1. Contact your RM or visit the local branch office.
2. Request for an account closure form.
3. Fill out the form and sign it.
4. Attach all the unused DIS slips.
5. Submit the form in the office or courier it to the address mentioned in the form.

Note:

• For a joint account, all account holders must sign in the form.
• It takes up to 7 working days to process the application. You will receive a confirmation letter within 15 days. In case you don't get the confirmation letter in 2 weeks then follow up with customer support.
