How to close the dhan Demat account?

To close the Dhan Demat account, applicants will be required to fill out a physical form which can be downloaded from the Dhan website and submit the physical copy to the Dhan office.

There is no online procedure to close a Dhan account.

Before initiating the closure of your account, you should consider the following points:

• Empty your demat account. You can either sell your holdings and withdraw your money or you can transfer your shares to another demat account.
• Close all open positions entered from this trading account.
• Your trading account should not have a negative balance.
• Clear all unpaid dues, if any, with the broker.
