How to close SMC global account?

SMC global account can be closed only through an offline process by following these steps:

1. Download the account closure form.
2. Fill the below details in the form:
   1. DP and Client ID.
   2. Trading Code.
   3. Names of the account holder.
   4. Address of the account holder.
   5. Reasons for closing the account.
3. Sign the form. In the case of a joint Demat account, all holders must sign the closure form.
4. Send the closure form to the address mentioned in the form.

Points to note before submitting the closure request:

• Clear outstanding dues to the broker, if any.
• Transfer the securities to another Demat account or sell the holdings if you get a better price as desired.
