How to close ICICIdirect trading account online?

ICICI Direct account can only be closed offline by following the below steps:

1. Download the trading account closure form.
2. Take a printout and fill in the form details like your name, PAN No., Date of birth, and Trading Ac No.
3. Attach all the required documents like a copy of the ledger, unused DP slips.
4. Submit the form at the nearest ICICIdirect branch.
5. It may take around 7-10 working days to close the account after the account closure form submission.

Ensure that all holdings & positions are cleared off and settled before submitting an account closure request. Also, there should be no unpaid dues on your account.
