How to close Groww Demat account?

You can close the Groww Demat account offline by sending the paper form to their office in Bangalore.

Steps to close Demat account in Groww

1. Raise a ticket with Groww to procure the Demat account closure form.
2. Download the Groww account closure form once received.
3. Input your account details like Name, Address, and DP details.
4. Provide the reason for requesting an account closure.
5. Sign the form.
6. Send the form to the correspondence address.

Note:

• Groww demat account cannot be closed online.
• You receive an email confirmation from CDSL (depository) and Groww once the account is successfully closed. Contact customer service if you do not get the confirmation in 3 working days.
• You cannot close the Demat account if there are any securities in them. Thus, you need to sell the shares from your Demat account or transfer them to another Demat account before initiating the account closure.
