How to cancel Zerodha account opening?

If you have paid account opening charges then it is nonrefundable. However, if you wish to close your account you can follow this process.

1. Login to Console.Zerodha.com
2. Select Account Tab
3. Click on Segments and then the Account closure tab
4. Enter the reason for account closure
5. Click Continue
6. Check the box for Terms and Conditions and click the proceed button for e-signature
7. Select the check box to authorize NSDL.
8. Enter the Aadhaar number and click on Send OTP
9. Enter the OTP and click on Verify OTP

After you request to close your account with Zerodha, the company will process your request within 72 business hours.
