An IPO is a public offering of a company's stock to the general public.
The steps to apply for an IPO are:
- Open the Kotak Securities website and click on LOGIN TO TRADE.
- Log into your account and go to "IPO" under the "Place Order" tab in the "Primary Market" row.
- Select ASBA or Non-ASBA and then select the IPO you wish to invest in.
- A disclaimer will appear, read through it and click Accept.
- Enter the details such as quantity and price and click Place Order.
- Now enter your age on the next page and click Submit.
- Make sure that your bank account has sufficient funds to apply for the IPO.
- Click "Ok" in the pop-up window and your order will be placed.
