How to apply in IPO through ICICI bank for minor account holder?

The ICICI Bank Online IPO Application is only for resident individuals who are ICICI Bank Net-Banking customers. The IPO applications are not allowed on behalf of a Minor.

A Minor bank account holder doesn't have access to net-banking. It is operated online using the customer ID of the guardian. Minor doesn't get a net-banking User ID or customer ID.

IPO Application Process for Minor via ICICI Bank

To apply for an IPO through an ICICI Bank minor account:

1. Open a minor savings and demat account with ICICI Bank (guardian-operated).
2. Log in to ICICI Bank Net Banking.
3. Go to Investments → IPO → Apply IPO via ASBA.
4. Fill IPO details and apply using funds from the minor’s bank account.
5. The payment is processed directly through net banking, without a third-party gateway.

Eligibility: Children below the age of 18 years

• Photograph of the Guardian
• PAN card of Guardian
• Age proof of the Minor
