  1. What is AMC for Kotak Neo?

    Kotak Neo charges Rs 0 Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) for a trading account and Rs 600 for a Demat account. AMC is charged to maintain the accounts.

  2. How much Kotak Neo charge for delivery?

    Kotak Neo charge 0.20% (free for the first 30 days) for equity delivery trade. These trades are also known as cash & carry trades or CNC.

    Espresso customer also has to pay taxes, demat debit transaction fee (Rs 13.5 per trade) and exchange transaction charges.

  3. How much Kotak Neo charge for intraday?

    Kotak Neo charge Rs 10 per order or 0.05%, whichever is lower for intra-day trades. These orders are also known as Margin Intraday Square-up or MIS orders. All open intraday orders are auto squared-off at the end of the day. Extra leverage is offered for these trades.

To invest in IPO through Kotak Neo, one has to follow below easy steps:

  • First login on https://www.kotakneo.com/ and enter User ID & password
  • Go to IPO section & click on 'Place Order'
  • Click on 'ASBA application' radio button which fill all the necessary details to place an IPO order
  • After filling all details, click on 'Place Order' tab which will take you to 'Order Confirmation Page'
  • Check & confirm the details that you have filled in & click on 'Apply' tab to complete the IPO transaction

 

Demat account closure is an offline process in Kotak Neo. Please ensure that you do not have any holding in your account and FATCA is updated in your account before requesting account closure.

Steps to close your Demat account are:

  1. Download the Demat account closure form
  2. Fill in the details like DP ID, Client ID, Account holder information, Reason for closing your account.
  3. Sign the form.
  4. Send the form to the address mentioned in the closure form or visit the nearest branch to submit it.

 

Yes, user can place 3 orders at different rates.

 

Yes, Revisions/ modifications can be done on the online portal and the final amount payable will be blocked by the Bank subsequently.

 

No, the amount blocked in your bank account supporting the ASBA application cannot be withdrawn till the time of allotment.

 

Yes, he can make cancellations on the online portal till the last day of the issue. Subsequently, he will have to approach RTA for withdrawals.

If you already have a bank account with a bank other than Kotak Neo, add the bank details when you open the demat and trading account (2-in-1).

If the customer already has a savings account and a demat account with any of the following banks - Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, ING Vysya Bank, Federal Bank, Citibank, Union Bank of India or Oriental Bank of Commerce - you just need to link your trading account and start trading.

To add funds from other bank accounts to Kotak Neo, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to Kotak Neo App or Website.
  2. Go to the trading section.
  3. Click on Funds > Money Transfer > Transfer Funds
  4. Select a bank you want to trade with and click Submit.
  5. Select your bank's name and the amount you want to transfer and click Go.
  6. You will be redirected to the bank's payment gateway
  7. Complete the transaction and your money will be added.
