Edelweiss mobile trader is a free mobile trading app available for iPhone and Android smartphone users. The mobile app offers advanced trading features like technical charts, customizable watchlists, latest market updates etc.

Steps to use Edelweiss mobile trader app

1. Go to the app store of your iPhone or Android phone
2. Search for 'Edelweiss Mobile Trader'
3. Download and install it
4. Log in to the mobile app on your smart phone
5. Transfer funds from your bank to trading account
6. Search for 'securities' of your choice
7. Click the 'Buy' or 'Sell'
8. Enter order details

1. Log in to the mobile app
2. Select the asset class in which you want to trade.
3. Search the stock you want to buy/sell
4. Select the security and click on the 'Buy' or 'Sell' button

Edelweiss Mobile Trader App is a smart phone app for trading. This app allows you to buy/sell shares and mutual funds online.

Steps to sell shares in Edelweiss App

1. Login to Edelweiss mobile trader app.
2. Open the menu by clicking '...' in the top right.
3. Click on 'Holdings'
4. Select the shares you would like to sell.
5. Click on the 'Sell' button
6. Enter order details like an exchange, price, quantity, order type etc
7. Review and confirm your order

You can also sell shares by visiting the 'Watchlist'. Add the share to your watchlist, select the stock you want to sell, click on the orange 'T' round button, select action as 'Sell', enter the order detail like quantity and confirm the order.

Note:

• If you sell shares using product type (Delivery CNC) without holding it then your order will be rejected.
• All intraday order should use product type as Intraday (MIS).

Edelweiss offers online IPO through its website to customers as well as guest users. It offers IPO through UPI as a payment gateway. The applicant should have a Bank Account UPI ID before applying in an IPO using Edelweiss online IPO application.

If you do not wish to apply in IPO using UPI, you could apply in an IPO through the net-banking of your bank using the ASBA facility using the Edelweiss demat account number. The IPO allocated shares are deposited in your Edelweiss demat account.

Steps to buy IPO in Edelweiss

1. Go to Edelweiss website
2. Navigate to 'SELF INVESTING' > 'Primary Market'
3. Choose the IPO in 'ONGOING IPOs' and click on Apply.
4. Enter your bid details like price, quantity and investor type.
5. Enter your UPI ID, review your order and click submit.
6. Open your UPI app and accept the payment request.

Note:

• You will get an email confirmation once your IPO application is accepted.
• Your IPO application is not complete until the UPI payment is approved. It may take up to 12 hours for you to receive the UPI payment request.

Steps To Apply IPO Online in Edelweiss through ASBA

1. Log in to your net-banking account (i.e. ICICI, SBI).
2. Go to the Online IPO Application section.
3. Select the desired IPO from the list.
4. Enter IPO bid detail (price, quantity)
5. Enter the Edelweiss demat account information.
6. Review and submit your order.

• Your investment amount will be blocked until the IPO allotment is done. It will be debited if you are allotted IPO shares else the fund is released for withdrawal.

Edelweiss Mobile Trader app offers advanced order types like stop-loss. It limits the loss in the trade in case the price of a stock moves adversely. You could place stop-orders from the standard order window using the order type as 'stop-loss' or 'stop-loss market'.

Steps to Place Stop-Loss Order in Edelweiss App

1. Login to your Edelweiss App
2. Go to 'Watchlist' by clicking the button at the bottom left.
3. Click + sign on top
4. Search Stock
5. Click the + button to add stock to watchlist
6. Click 'Done'
7. In the watchlist click on the orange 'T' button.
8. Choose 'Stop-Loss' in the order type.
9. Enter order details like Exchange, Quantity, Price etc.
10. Enter Stop Loss price and Trigger price
11. Review and confirm the order

Note:

• As soon as the share price touches the Trigger Price, the Stop Loss order will be placed. The order will be executed when the 'Stop-Loss' price is crossed.
• In a stop-loss order, a trader enters the stop-loss price while placing the 'buy' or 'sell' order. For a 'buy' order he needs to place a 'sell' stop loss and vice versa. The system will automatically execute the order on the share price reaching the set stop-loss price.
