Dhan IPO Review (Apply Steps, UPI and Allotment Status)

To check the IPO status on the Dhan app you need to open the Order tab. Follow the below-mentioned steps to check the order status.

1. Open the Dhan App.
2. Click on Order Tab.
3. Check the status of all the orders.

Note: Order Status

Pending - order is sent to the exchange, but the execution is pending.

Traded- Order is placed successfully.

Failed - Order execution failed (the reason is also mentioned once you click on the order).

Canceled - The order has been canceled.

Dhan customers may cancel or delete the IPO application for which payment is pending or in progress.

Follow the below steps to cancel/delete the IPO application: 

1. Open the Dhan mobile app or website and log in.
2. Click on the "My Bids" section under the IPO tab.
3. Click on the IPO for which you want to Delete/Cancel the BID
4. You can cancel your order by clicking the "Cancel Order".
5. Click on the green ✅option to proceed with IPO cancellation.

Note: Only IPOs with a payment pending status can be canceled or deleted.

Yes, investors can apply for an IPO through Dhan App using the ASBA facility (via your bank). 

Following is the process of applying for an IPO through the Dhan Mobile App:

1. Open Dhan Mobile App
2. Click on the "Money" tab
3. In the IPO section, you can check the upcoming IPOs.
4. Click on "Apply Now".
5. Enter the details of the IPO.
6. Complete the payment.

Complete the following steps to pay for the IPO through the Dhan trading platforms:

1. Apply for the IPO using the Dhan app or website.
2. The exchange will send a request to block the funds via UPI mandate on the UPI application that is linked to your associated bank account.
3. After you authorise the request, you will receive a request to block money equal to the amount you applied.
4. If you receive the allotment, the amount will be debited from your account.
5. If there is no allotment, the blocked funds will be released.
